What documents should i bring with me to consulate?

Post by elz » Sun Jan 08, 2006 3:34 pm

I was refused leave to enter at heathrow in the UK a few days ago. Since my plans for a 5 month vacation were ruined, I am now planning a short holiday to visit my boyfriend at the end of the month. I am going tio play it safe and go to the consulate and apply for a visitor visa [for a short period of time]. What is going to come up when they check why I was refused [Basically it was because they didnt think i would be returning back home]. I own a car and pay car insurance monthly, am going to be enrolled for college courses that start in march, my family and friends are here, etc. at the present time i do not have a job to return to as i was injured and had to resign from work. I could get a lawyer who is working my injury case to validate this. Should i bring pictures of my boyfriend and i? My family and I? I know every little bit helps so what should i bring? my boyfriend and i have no plans of marrying at all. should i get a letter from him attesting to this?
