Time taken from getting employer license to issue a COS

Hi All,
My potential employer has just got employer license and being told that they will get the user id in post. After getting the user id, can they issue a COS straight away logging into the sponsorship management system? If not how long will it take(including getting the user id through post)? Has anyone gone through such a process, I am a bit worried as my current T2 visa is finishing after two weeks.

1. After u employer got the Login details they need to lig into the sponsorship management system and issue a certificate for you (Takes about 5 to 10 minutes if they know all the details required to fill the form).

CoS issuance is just 1hour process once the details and fees is paid.. while this CoS is in process get ur other stuff ready to be sent to HO..

Thank you Ramesh and Ash. Is there any way my employer can get the login id directly from UKBA without waiting for the post?

I just heard from somewhere that it takes 2 weeks to get the id by post. My visa is finished on 14th Feb and 13th, 14th are weekends. So my application has to reach HO before 12th.
