where are the PEO offices?

Post by abcd1 » Mon Jan 09, 2006 10:27 am

Could you please tell where are the PEO offices in England other than Croydon?
Is it mandatory to visit one's nearest office for ILR application?

The PEOs are detailed on this webpage.

As a Moderator I can see the IP used by you when you posted, and then work out where you are. So I can say, if you wanted to go to the Birmingham PEO, instead of Croydon, which is probably a bit nearer, then that is totally OK. There is no geographical limitation.

Well can you then give me another suggestion? I've a gap (6+ months) in my 4 year stay. Some of my friends were saying that for that reason chance of refusal in croydon office is more. Is it true? Is it easier for offices other than croydon? Thankx.

I would say that the only difference is that the Birmingham PEO is a lot smaller than the Croydon PEO, so more pleasant to visit?

But doubt whether there are any statistics available to cover the point raised by you.

Either way if you are going to visit a PEO then you have a rather long drive! There probably is not much difference in distance between the Croydon or Birmingham for you.

Maybe apply by post?
