i just got my bank statements reaching in my house today(im currently in malaysia)...

i feel real SAD because for the 5th time,natwest posted me the WRONG statements again!!!help....what shud i do...i have been requested for my BS since Nov until now and this is the 5th time they posted me my BS but again,it isnt the correct one!!!


thy always got me the wrong statements as the dates on those statemnts arent the dates that i requested for....anyone to give me any idea to get it sorted,it happened for so many times!!=(i just don understand why thy couldnt post me the correct one..??!why....:'(

i dont hav any join-account and my own acct in my homeland is below 2800£..all i can rely on is only this acct in britain..

Really sorry for your situation but all you can do is ask them to send u the correct statements again.. or there is something maybe u can try..
Search for a natwest bank branch in malaysia ( sorry about the error )... maybe u turn lucky and there is one somewhere.. Take an e-printout of ur statements, go to the branch and get it signed and sealed from the bank..

Search for a natwest bank branch in britain... maybe u turn lucky and there is one somewhere.. Take an e-printout of ur statements, go to the branch and get it signed and sealed from the bank..

thx for dat.. well that wud b easy job if i managed to search for da nearest branch n get it sorted but the thing is,im not in the UK n malaysia dont have any natwest branch,or any bank that linking with natwest...

i just made another call to natwest moment ago, and i told thm that thy post me the wrong statements again but they seemed like dont really bother... although thy said thy will deliver me another statements again wthin 10 working days but im worried if thyy got me the wrong one again next time... im stil figuring out an alternative way.some ppl adviced me to transfer all my money into my bank acct in malaysia and wait for another 3 months but i dont feel like wanna waste another 3 months in my homeland anymore...=(

If they dont send u the correct statements, then i dont think that u have any other choice.. why dont you also try mailing them ( there is an option in HSBC where u can send a mail from ur online account .. i dont know about natwest ).. I have seen that the customer care executives answering mails are sometimes more responsible than the ones on phones.. apply for one through a mail too.. no harm in asking for multiple statements.. they may do it right maybe..

yes i have emailed them when the 3rd time thy post me the wrong statements but i havent got any feedback from them.Im wondering if thy just ignored those mail from non-citizen of UK,is this dearly beloved or what i cant say anything...

One of my friend just told me that i wont get any b.s. if the amount of money nvr been withdrawed within the whole month.But i rmb that i stil got my bank statements evry month when i was stil in the UK last time,eventhough i didnt withdraw or bank-in yet the bank statements would stil be sent to my house on time...

is that true about what my friend just told me?

1. If u r asking statemensts for a specific date then it might not be possible. I will explain in detail.

For example, if you request statemens from the 10th jan and you want the start date on the statement as 10th jan then it might not be possible.

So just say that u account statement sheet no is 78 and it has a start balance from the 1st jan and also includes 10th jan and goes up to 28th jan.

2. So in this case regardless wat u say or do the bank can not produce a statement start from the 10th jan as it will start from the 1st jan.

Why dont you just ask them to send you a statement which includes the period of 4 months or something like that. As long as you get the statement which was issued within 1 month of application submission date and shows that the amount was never fallen below the limit for consecutive 3 months. You will be alright. If it falls below the limit(outside 3 month period) then just stick a sticky note for immigration officer to say that it was outside the period of 3 months... Mention it on covering letter as well. Hope it helps

many thx ash i nvr knew about it until u told me...i thought that we could ask for the bank statement which following the starting date we wanted it to be....

so in my case now,i got my bank statements which is 25th Sept,25thOct and 25thNov which the sheet number for each month is 27(sept),28(oct),29(nov). but the latest statements i received is abit different which the starting date is 4th Dec n closing date is 22nd Jan(sheet number 30). Is that ok to used all these statements to apply my psw now although i dont have statement showing 25th Dec and i dont know why natwest just post me the 4th dec to 22nd jan one instead.

my statements nvr fall below the limit,just that the problem is with the date that printed on it.i only manage to show my BS from 25th Sept-25th Nov. the latest BS i received is from 4th Dec-22nd Jan. i'm wondering if i could used all of them to apply my psw now?

If i were in your shoes, i will only do that if i HAVE to and include a nice covering letter mentioning why im submitting two statements.

BUT.... make sure both statements were issued within a calendar month of your application date and write it on covering letter as well . Otherwise, i am afraid the HO will have issues with it and could reject your application on that basis.

yeh my statements r 25th sept,25th oct and 25th nov and the latest one is 4th Dec to 22nd Jan.i never either withdrawed or bank-in money within these few months period,thats y my BS is simply showing the 'balance brought forward' on each statements i got here.is that really a problem to show 2 different statements like what arsenal49 said above?do i really need a cover letter mentioning y im submitting 2 statements?

i mean i will submit the 25th oct,25th nov and the 4th dec-22nd jan one and my closing date is 22nd jan,in which i will submit my BS with a sticky notes on it,mentioning to HO that my 3 months maintainance wil b as below:

22nd Jan-22nd Dec
22nd dec-22nd Nov
22nd Nov-22nd Oct

is that secure enough for application now?although my statements just printing the date 25th,without printing 22nd on it...
