28 days requirements

Post by londumpster » Thu Feb 04, 2010 4:24 pm

Hello,

I am due for my PR soon. My first work permit was stamped on 13th of April 2005 and I entered the country on the 17th of April 2005. I am applying for my ILR in person at the Croydon PEO. I have an appointment on the 15th March.

I wanted to know if the UKBA can reject my application because I am applying 4 days before the 28 days requirement or if I will be fine...

Will appreciate a response so if necessary I can reschedule my appointment.

Many thanks

The answer to your question is YES they can. you still have time why dont you keep trying for an appointment within the 28days. It could end up costing you an extra £1020 plus the waiting time when you have to reapply

At Croydon PEO they will not charge you, but they will turn you away.
