The back story is I have a boyfriend who is a US citizan who moved to the UK to be with his family who all have duel residence apart form him his aplication was denied and him and his family have all moved back to the US and i have moved with them. Moving was a very short notice and didn't have much chance to apply for work or visa before coming out to the US.

Any advise would be greatly appericaiated
Sorry but work visas are hard to get in this economic climate. Not to mention that I'm pretty sure you can't switch to one if you're there on the VWP. With no special skills or a company willing to hire you, I'm afraid chances are slim.
I tell it like it is.

Marriage would seem the only option, assuming you are a woman. By the way, it's illegal to move to the US on the Visa Waiver Program.
