can any one tell me the phone number to ring the home office?

It is given on their website in plain sight.. Btw are you sure about the visa reference number being the VAF No: since someone told me that it could be the red printed number.. what is your advice based on?

100% guranteed!! i extended my student visa few months ago n dat is how i know about it because my personal advisor in the student union assisted me on that and they deal with it everyday so it cant be wrong n i got the visa too so its quite ovbious it is the VAF number given on the top right corner of ur visa

dude, u should check my other thread " What is a visa reference number " where somebody has "guaranteed" that the visa reference number is the red number on the top right corner..
