To give a CoS the company you want to switch/change should have SL(Sponser Licence )...

Apart from that if your occupation is not from the Shortlisted jobs, your compay should go for Labour Tests/ Adverts/ Interviews before issuing you CoS

1. Well first of all u need to make sure that u apply for a job with a company who is registered with UKBA for emplying migrants workers.
2. If the company is registered with UKBA then they will issue you a COS for u to apply for the visa.
3. U also need to make sure that u job gets paid according to the list published by UKBA.
4. The job u applying for should be related to your qualification.

Makes sense. I heard from my friend here, there is one more possibility. Where some company can issue COS for me and i can apply for another company for job . Is that true ?

1. No u can only work for the company for whom u got the licence.
2. If u want to work for another company then the whole process start again for that company.
