EC Long term resident, poss to work in The Netherlands????

Hi all!!!!

I am a non european who has the EC long term resident card, issued by
Spain, after 5 years legally working and living there.

Due to the crisis in Spain and the lack of work, I am thinking about going
to live to the Netherlands. My question is, will I be allowed to live and work there with my EC long term resident???

It isn't better in Holland. And they are very nationalistic; hiring only dutch people and not hiring people for english speaking jobs because the don't speak dutch. I'd rethink your plan before coming to a very unfriendly country like Holland.

Really? I've found the Dutch very accomodating, in the IT industry certainly. To Brits of course, but we did free them from the shackles of the Fascists and gave them their bicycles back.....
