bblb, I'm in the same position. I applied in October aswell and still my application is being waiting to be allocated to a case worker.

I tried emailing too but failed to get a response. In the end I just decided I was going to continue re-dialling until I got through.

I was particularly concerned as the cheque I had sent with my application had not been banked either. I was told that there is a huge backlog of October applicatins and they cannot give any sort of timescale as to when I would get my documents back.
