Hello to all,
I was in UK for 1 year on SBS visa, now that it is expired and I'm back in my home country Bulgaria, my employer is applying for a TWES visa for me. Can you pls give me info reg how long it will take for the Home Office to give an answer to my employer. The papers were posted just before the New Year. Besides what is the period after the expiration of SBS visa that I can't apply for another visa.

Hello

in the normal way they will try to sort out your application within 12 weeks but your record is already with work permit dept and I believe it is the same employer so immigration history about SBS is clear.

Normally one should be away for the 3 months . I hope your application will be in order and you are away from the UK so your matter may get expedited , if documentation and information required in your application is complete.

thank u very much for your reply. i'm now aproved for a new work permit and my papers are already with my employer. they are sending the work permit to me next week. can i go directly to the consulate and apply for my next visa or i have to wait until the 3 months are over.
