Student Visa Extention

Post by Wanderer » Sun Jan 22, 2006 11:20 pm

We're doing the FLR(S) right now and I'm writing my sponsors letter for my
gf studying here. Thing is, should I keep it plain and formal, or mention we are in a relationship too, or is this TMI?

I have a tendancy for waffling and going into chapter and verse but I dunno if this wil be good or bad in this instance.

Having said that, my gut feeling here is keep it simple and formal cos it;s the government we're dealing with not Dear Deirdre......

Help!

Dont write too much - just tell them what they only need to know - dont volunteer unnecessary information!!!!

dont forget student visa rules are such that "the student intends to leave rge UK at the end of their studies"....
Where there is a will there is a way.

Yeah this bit doesn't quite sit with the fact we're intending to stay together here after her studies, hopefully with an unmarried partner visa.

Or maybe not - I'm after a sea change and buggering off with her to her country....

Then again 'the student intends to leave UK..' doesn't mean she can't return immediately on UPV........

Tell me to stop overthinking here!!
