Hi All

It's always pleasure to visit the forum and see all the expertise here. I would appreciate if someone could help me with the following query:

I know that there is a requirement of 5 years period of living in the UK in order to gain citizenship. Now my question is, does being a student here counts towards the 5 years? Let's say an individual first arrive legally as a student and then continue his life in the UK and lives for 5 years. My logic tells me that it should count because students are allowed to reside here and even work.
