Certified or simple copies for PSW dependant

Hi,

I have sent my documents away to my wife in Pakistan for PSW dependant visa. I have already attached copies of my passport and PSW visa with the bank statement.

However, when she phonned VAC in Karachi, Pakistan for the appointment she was asked to bring along the attested copies of my passport and visa proof. Its not mentioned anywhere on any sites that copies must be attested.

Its so frustrating now. People who have already applied for PSW dependant please guide me on this issue.

i have no personal experience of applying but if they want attested copies then im afraid u will have to give them attested copies ... or risk rejection which is not worth it reallly...

The document checklist on Gerry's website just says "copy/photocopy". See Tier 1 (PSW) supporting documents and checklist.

I have applied for my dependent's visa under PSW tier 1 scheme. I was physically in karachi on the day when she had submitted her application. And no photocopies with any attestaion has been required by feddex.
