visa Grants??

Post by kelly1305 » Sat Mar 06, 2010 6:52 pm

when your visa application has been accepted, what is the next call?

The immigration call you to let you know?
they send a letter confirming?
they tell over the phone that its been accepted and to send your passport?
they send you some sort of guide line of the next steps, the what to dos and not to does?

please some one let me know what happened when their visa was accepted?

It would help to let us know what "visa" you are talking about. Since you posted in the EEA-route section I suspect that it is not actually a visa what you are enquiring about.

You are in the right section. But it is not a visa as I said. Either a EEA family permit for entrance or a residence card. Which is it? Since you appear to have applied already you should know.

Yes, usually they communicate in writing, but without any further detail this is a shot in the dark.

I do not know why you have said this?

All i asked is;
when your visa application has been accepted, what is the next call?

The immigration call you to let you know?
they send a letter confirming?
they tell over the phone that its been accepted and to send your passport?
they send you some sort of guide line of the next steps, the what to dos and not to does?

please some one let me know what happened when their visa was accepted?

So Ok again, when you apply for a family permit to the uk as a family member of an eu Citzen what are the procedures?

in this case they sent an application with the passport to the immigration, they refused it, then they appealed sent the application again.
This time without the passport as they told him he did not need to.
Then they called him a few months later telling him his visa has been accepted and to send his passport to the immigration to get his stamp/visa.
They sent the pasport back with the stamp in an envelop and nothing more.
They called him asking him to send his flight details to them as well.

so again can any one please tell me if they know;
Is it normal for;

The immigration call you to let you know?
they send a letter confirming?
they tell over the phone that its been accepted and to send your passport?
they send you some sort of guide line of the next steps,
the what to dos and not to does?

Is the way my friends did this normal?
