HSMP extension

Hi,

My HSMP visa runs out in fiirst week of April 2006. Does the rule related to applying withing 2 months from the date of visa expiry still hold true, in the light of HO's current service levels.

A lot of applicants apply with 2 months to go and it is accepted although their ruling on the matter is actually five weeks..
