Spanish/ Italian Marriage Visa

Hi,

I was born in South-Africa but am also a british passport holder as my father was born there. My spouse has a South-African passport only.
I have lived in the Uk for a while but he has not.
We are very much interested in moving to either Spain or Italy, will he be able to obtain a marriage visa from either country?

if you are british passpost holder than you dont neen a visa for spain or italiy.
