What's the "business accounts" required from compa

Post by deficit » Thu Mar 11, 2010 12:30 am

Hi everybody,

Does anyone know what documents are required from company owners applying for ILR under Tier 1(General) category?

I am on the Tier 1 (General) visa at the moment, I am going to apply for ILR in April.

I had had a job until about 1 year ago. 1 year ago I resigned and started my own company.

What documents should I use as an evidence of economic activity?

The application form says that I should produce "business accounts". What exactly do they mean by "business accounts"?
Does it mean the bank statements for my business bank account, or do I also need to show some accounting reports?

If I also need to show some accounting reports, which reports do they need?

Is it the same reports that are included into the annual HMRC reports (i.e. the "Balance Sheet" and the "Profit & Loss" reports)?
Thank you in advance
