Dear All

Would any one please tell me as i have got my ILR recently, i know its long time to go for BC(1year),but my query is My life in UK test for ILR is ok for BC as well or should i take another test ?
Do i need to be employee continually till i get BC,and how long can i be out of U.K (absent) ,is this all apply to my dependant as well ?

Please some could enlight me on these qurries/

1/ LIUK Test pass is still valid.
2/ NO need to be employed at all. you can be on benefits even
3/ 90 days in your last year, there may apply discretion for up to 100days away
4/ There are no dependents when it comes to naturalisation. So your spouse will have to meet the same requirements.

Remember for the purposes of naturalisation there are NO dependents. So your spouse has to meet the same requirements as you have to meet. Unless if she applies after you receive your naturalisation certificate and then they would need to only have lived here for 3 years instead of the current 5
