Extremely Urgent Help Required

Post by silversurfer » Sat Mar 20, 2010 1:08 pm

Dear Members,

One of my bank transaction for salary is missing in the original bank statement.
I realized while final check of documents before sending the application.
If I wait for corrected bank statements I will not be able to send the application in time i.e. before 6th of April.
I have included e-statement (not signed or stamped) which shows the transaction.
Should this be enough?
Will the application be rejected for one missing transaction?
or
Will the previous earnings be calculated minus the salary for that one month?
I am very nervous please advice.

Regards,
SilverSurfer

what other documents are you submitting in support of previous earnings?
e-statement is acceptable only when signed and stamped by the bank

can you gain enough points if that transaction is not taken into account? if you are relying on that transaction pretty badly then i am afraid e statements wont be much of a help without stamp and signature.

Why that transaction did not appear on your bank statement but is appearing on e statement? i am confused a bit here

the e-statement you are providing does have the salary transaction right? because if any of your salary transactions are missing you they wont count the earnings for missing period.

if e-statement have the transaction then just get them signed and stamped by the bank and you'd be good to go
Goodluck.

Bank wrongly entered the statement end date and the date salary was credited did not appear. So that month's salary credit is missing.
I have included e-statements for clarity just in case along with original bank statements.
I will gain enough points even if that month's salary is not counted.
I am afraid only because I don't know whether this missing transaction makes them cancel the application.

then you got two options. either submit signed and stamped e-statements for that month

or exclude the month from your application when that salary was credited altogether as you can claim enough points without it

in my opinion not including that month is better than including it with half evidence as it may confuse caseworkers (they are very fragile lol)
Goodluck.

Go to your nearest branch and ask them to print off the statement of the relevant month. Also ask them to put stamp(and sign if they do) on it. You can use that statement.

I am in UK and the Bank is in India. I am applying from within UK.
I have already posted the application as waiting for attested statement or original statement wud have taken a long time.
What are my options now?
Have I risked my application?
Can I send the missing statement before a decison has been taken?

yes you can send as many documents as you can before the decision has been taken. Just slip in a cover letter explaining what the additional documents are for

I sent bank statements in support of maintenance funds after my application and it reached there safely and was linked to my file. Mind you I didn't have acknowledgement letter then, so if you have the letter write your reference number too.
here is the address (I think it's the same address where we sent the forms initially)

UK Border Agency
Tier 1
PO Box 496
Millburngate House
Durham
DH99 1WQ

=====below is the cover letter if you want =========

RE: Additional Evidence for Tier 1 (General) highly skilled workers and PBS dependant

Dear Sir/Madam,

I <Full Name> (Passport Number: 9999), recently applied for extension of my stay in the UK as a Tier 1 (General) high skilled worker along with my son, <Dependants Full Name> (Passport Number: 9999999) as my dependant.
I sent my personal bank statements in support of the maintenance funds requirement for both my dependant and myself but the original bank statement for the period 20th January 2010 to 19th February 2010 were not available at the time I sent my application.
I have received the original bank statements for that period now and have enclosed them with this letter.
I would be very grateful if you could add this to my file and consider as an evidence for maintenance support.

Kind Regards,

<your name>
Goodluck.

if you dont have reference number available (cuz you never received acknowledgment letter) then....

Make sure you include this info in covering letter, to be attached with "change of circumstances form".

Name: exactly as in passport
Date of birth:DD/MM/YYYY
Passport Number:
VAF No.:
Nationality:

They can trace your file using just your name but if tehre is any issue with spelling, order of given names etc. , extra personal info is there for them to use and ensure your extra docs are linked with the orig app 100% guaranteed

I am speaking from my experience and it worked. sent it to sheffield address. the address on "change of circumstances" form.

about the address, I sent it to the address I provided earlier and it worked so I'm guessing it doesn't really matter where you send?

Plus my caseworker contacted me last week as he wanted a letter of consent from my wife regarding my son's application because of child protection law and he gave his Sheffield address but he did confirm that he has received the bank statements I sent after my application and it's been linked to the file
