How do i calculate the previous earning?

Post by Karuna » Wed Mar 24, 2010 5:28 am

Hi,
I have the salary document and bank statement for last 12 month earning from 01 March 2009 to 28 Feb 2010 .

When calculate the exchange rate using oanda.com. So As per closing spot exchange rate on Oanda.com (http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic) on the last day of my claim period, which is -28 Feb' 2010.(Printout from oanda.com need to attached):

I unable to take print out option for 28 Feb 2010, I guess because of Sunday (non working day) . Can i provide the printout of exchange rate for 27 Feb 2010. or ?

Which date basis i can calculate my previous earning point and amount?

How can i proceed further.?

Please guide me on this doubt.? Advance Thanks for your kindly help and guidelines.

Thanks,
Karuna.

HI Aruni,
Thanks for you valuable reply , I used to take the print out using the above link which you sent . Still Under line of GBP/INR it display the 27 feb 2009 only.

GBP/INR for the 24-hours period ending Saturday, February 27, 2010 22:00 UTC @internetbank rate Estimated price based on daily USD rates

And How do i calculate my total salary amount eg:

====== Bid Sell 1 GBP Ask== Buy 1 GBP
MIN====70.1477 ========== 70.2167
AVG ===70.1689 ========== 70.2379
MAX ===70.2431 ========== 70.3121

< Total salary > * <AVG Sell 1 GBP > or <AVG Buy 1 GBP >

Can you clarify on this scenario?

Thanks,
Karuna

The main date should be 28/02/2010, dont worry about the closing rate date. You were correct because it is sunday you would only get previous day's rate.

Use the avg sell rate, 70.1689 in this case

The date highlighted in red is important

Currency I Have:

1 GBP
Currency I Want:

70.1689 INR
DATE: (MM/DD/YYYY) 02/28/2010RATE: Interbank rate
Market Rates
GBP/INR for the 24-hour period ending
Saturday, February 27, 2010 22:00 UTC

Bid
Sell 1 GBP

Ask
Buy 1 GBP
MIN 70.1477 70.2167
AVG 70.1689 70.2379
MAX 70.2431 70.3121
These values represent the daily average of the Bid and Ask rates OANDA receives from many data sources.
