Support letters

Hello, This is my first post here and all that I've read here already has been very very helpful.
I'm sponsoring my Japanese husband to come back to the UK with me. I wanna get back home to Eastenders and fish and chips :D
I really need your help writing the support letter. I have no idea where to start. Any hints and tips would be great!! Thanks

Are you sponsoring your husband for a visit or a settlement?.

If you just look above this post, there is a sticky which as this letter. You just need to amend it to suit your own needs

More importantly than the wording in the sponsor letter, if you intend to settle in the UK you will have to show that you have sufficient income or substantial savings to support yourselves on arrival without claiming Public Funds (benefits) or financial support from a 3rd party and that you will have adequate accomodation available. You must also both be over the age of 21.

Thanks for the link it's great batleykhan, yes, I'm sponsoring my husband for settlement.
And casa, yep got all the money stuff sorted and giving my parents' address as our residence and they have ample space. So, I think that I'm all ready to get the application together. :D

You need a letter of consent from your parents that both you and your hubby can stay in the house untill such time you can afford your own.

You will need proof that your parents own the house( Title Deeds) and that there is enough space in the house so as to be not overcrowded.

The good news for you, Denzochan, is that coming from Japan your husband will probably have very few, if any, difficulties.

:) Yes got my parents to send mortgage agreement, deeds and council tax for their home and a letter saying we can stay. From what I understood from the advice here, better to do too much than not enough! I really hope that what stmellon said is true about japan.
