Extension discretionary leave

My wife Is British by naturalisation my kids and I got 3 years discretionary leave. We applied 7 wks ago for extension and all we received is a letter saying they have updated our address details cause we moved. Any idea on how long we have to wait. I didn't think it would take this long for an extension. Replies appreciated

DL applications have been known to take ages! Seven weeks is nothing! You could be in for a really long wait! :(
