If Carlsberg did irony........

Post by IrishTom » Sat Apr 03, 2010 11:03 am

Danesh, from Malaysia, cant wait to leave Ireland. Why? Too many foreigners!

Danesh, 31, stands here most days between midday and 7pm. He holds a sign advertising “80 per cent off laser hair removalâ€

Thanks for the quote, IrishTom! Nicely spotted.

Danesh should try being a stand-up comedian ;) People nowadays are too serious about immigration topics. It is either "send them home" or nothing at all for fear of being labeled dearly beloved. Irish version of AliG would be nice.

Reminds me of the Hungarian chef who won a fair few quid in the lotto. When the reporter asked him what was he going to do with his new found wealth he said he was hoping to be able to pick up a ticket to watch his beloved Dubs play Kerry in that years All Ireland Football Championship. I literally laughed out loud to myself on the Luas when I read that.

Il try and dig out that article when Ive more time.

Some newcomers become more Irish, than the Irish themselves. The more things change, the more they stay the same
