Visit Visa to PSW dependent VISA

Hi,
I am sending my PSW application soon and my wife is on visit visa from Pakistan. I would like to know if I can send her application from inside UK or she needs to go back and apply from there for a dependent visa.
P.S. She still has a couple of months of visit visa remaining.
