Regarding HSMP Visa for WP Dependent

Hi All,

I would like to know the following as per new rules:

1. Can an WP dependent apply for HSMP while they are working in UK?
2. Do their salaries considered for Points to calculate their eligibility?
3. Even if the WP dependent is granted HSMP is it possible for the main WP holder remains on WP sponsored by his/her company?
4. If all the above are possible I would like to know that if main WP holder can continue to be on WP with the dependent granted a HSMP visa, is it still possible for one of them apply for ILR on reaching the 5 yrs limit on WP and the HSMP Visa holder can then be dependent again?

Also let me know if they quality for HSMP, supporting details for HSMP are as follows :

EDUCATION
-- Holds a Masters degree in Computer Application from Pune University - Distance Programe
--Holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Application from Pune University (Fergusson College)

INCOME
--The dependent referred above is working as a contractor in UK and has setup their own company with a gross income of 55K per year (before tax)

AGE
--Born on 15-12-1979 - Age 30 yrs


UK EXPERIENCE
-- working in UK for almost 18 months

ENGLISH LANGUAGE
-- has passed her bachelors from recognised college delivering lectures in english and has been listed on UK BA website.

FUNDS
-- Has enough funds already to show.

HSMP closed in 2008. It's Tier 1 (General) now!

1. Can an WP dependent apply for HSMP while they are working in UK?

Applicant must return to home country to apply for EC as Tier 1 migrant.

2. Do their salaries considered for Points to calculate their eligibility?

Only the applicant's earnings.

3. Even if the WP dependent is granted HSMP is it possible for the main WP holder remains on WP sponsored by his/her company?

Yes.

4. If all the above are possible I would like to know that if main WP holder can continue to be on WP with the dependent granted a HSMP visa, is it still possible for one of them apply for ILR on reaching the 5 yrs limit on WP and the HSMP Visa holder can then be dependent again?
