Need Help - Please advice HSMP

Dear Forum members (NEED ADVICE),

My name is anil, Iam planning to apply for HSMP visa in comming 2 months. I basically hold Masters degree in Microbiology and have a experience of 8 years in Research and development with a annual income package of 7 lakh rupees (50000 Rs monthly take home). My main question - is it ok if i resign my present job and leave to UK and search for a job there in Microbiology area. Should I be happy with my present job in india. I dont now exactly what is the present job market situation in UK. Please suggest me will i get a good job say around 1.5 to 2 lakh rupees/ month.

First of all there is no HSMP any more, it is Tier 1 General.

Nobody can suggest if you can resign your job or be happy with your present job. It all depends on how capable you are and how happy you are with your present job and many other personal commitments. Do some searching on the net, search some UK jobsites like www.monster.co.uk, www.reed.co.uk, www.totaljobs.com, www.jobsite.co.uk, www.jobserve.co.uk, www.jobsearch.co.uk, and many more. See how many vacancies are available in your field of expertise and what they are paying. Assess the situation and if you are confident enough and feel that you will be able to secure a job within whatever time limit you think would ne suitable then take a decision. All the best with your endeavour.
