I acknowledge the importance of the info. available through this forum. It is great for someone like me.
The situation is that I am about to change employer and obviously intend to make the process as smooth as possible. I am also aware that the employer needs to apply.
My worry is how does it affect the nature of the application, if there is a change in title but the job duties largely remains the same.
I am aware that if it is same then no need to do recruitment search. But would the following duties and responsibilities appear same? and what are the chances of successful application?
This is the only area that is bothering me
This is what I had in previous WP1 application Q55(a) which was approved
" MR......... will be employed as an assistant accountant, responsibilites will include preparation of company accounts, balance sheet and P rofit and loss accounts, processing of income tax returns, Auditing and Bank Reconciliations, weekly & monthly financial Reporting, management of payroll and provision of financial Management Advisory."
the following is my prospective employer's WP1 Q55(a) answer:
"MR........ WILL BE EMPLOYED AS AN PART-QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS ADVISORY DIVISION. RESPONSIBILIITIES WILL INCLUDE PREAPARTION OF COMPANY ACCOUNTS,PROCESSING OF TAX RETURNS, VAT RETURNS PREPARATION, AUDITING AND MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS PREPARATION."
comparing two descriptions above, does it seem like that there is change in type of job ? and hence no recruitment search.
