Tier 1 General - Questions

After the new changes , I will be applying in 3 months or so, but i am confused and i have been reading most of the posts searching for answers, please could any one elaborate and shed some light on these areas
passed the assessment, i am a contract manager , with 2 dependents (spouse & a 5 year old child)
- my first question ( and it is truly important ):
I know we are not entitled to any public fund which is completely okay but does that mean that my son should join a private school with fees ??

- 2nd question :
i have read things about 28 days which i couldn't understand
does it means if i entered the UK within the first 28 days of the stamped Visa i will apply after 2 years for the "Leave To Remain" and if after the 28 days it will be just an extension and go again with the same procedures of the pointing system and evidence documents, please elaborate.

-3rd question:
Will it affect me to stay in my country and search for jobs and when i get an offer i relocate , just for not losing my work & my source of income , 'till i find another one there. and is it easy to find and secure a job in the UK as a contract manager. and is it better to search while in the country or outside.

final question: can my spouse study (full/part time) regarding that she is a dependent.

Education is free in state funded schools and does not come under public fund.

Leave to remain is nothing but normal extension and you would need to go again with the same procedures of pointing system.

It would be difficult to get an offer without being present in UK, you may be successful in lining up some interviews. Would you offer a job to somebody whom you never saw, in a different country and only spoke over the phone?

Answer related to 3rd question for job.

It is sometime very difficult to manage an interview for outside the city because every employer want to take face to face interview and also preferred home candidates which means not even they are in UK but also in same city as well so they don't want candidates relocation from one city to another city, avoid TADA expenses until and unless the company badly need to fill the position.

thank you for your answer, it really helps. so i guess i have to wait a little bit longer before going to save a bulk of money to support us there. 'till i find a job, what about the job market, would i find a job easily , regarding i am on a managerial level as a contract manager and previously as an IT Project manager. again thank you for your help it is truly appreciated.

I don't want to disheart you, hope for the best but really be prepared for the worst. The job market is very saturated be prepared for jobless with 3-6 months and may be more. Sorry about that.
