Extending PSW (Tier 1) to General (Tier 2)

Is it possible to extend Tier 1 PSW to Tier 2 General Skilled Worker Visa if the candidate is employed in a recognised multinational company in UK for around a year (salary >25000 and <30000 GBP)?

the keyword here is "switching". yes you can switch to tier 2 visa from psw

psw is fixed term visa and you cant "extend" it.
