as part of his application for naturalisation as set out in the requirements by the home secretary.
this letter confirms the certificate was gained after attendence at an ESOL course quality assured by the institution.
the ESOL course was delivered in a citenzenship context and used learning materials derived from the 'citenzenship materials for ESOL learners' pack produced fro the home office by niace and LLU+.
the actual certificate is from city and guilds (QCA authority).
the UKBA website states:
You must have attended your ESOL course at an accredited college.
The course must have included citizenship materials derived from the document 'Citizenship Materials for ESOL Learners' (ISBN: 1-84478-5424).
You must have obtained a relevant ESOL qualification from an approved awarding body.
You must demonstrate that you have made relevant progress.
