Tier 2 + Dependent Visa -> Will both be valid?

Hi,

My wife and myself are in UK on a Tier 2 dependent visa. My wife is expecting her assignment to end by this month. I'm planning a apply a dependent visa for her so that she continue to stay with me. My question is, once she gets the dependent visa, will the Tier-2 work permit be valid, incase if she finds some opportunity within her organisation after few months?

Is your wife's Tier 2 visa issued from outside UK or from within UK?
