self employed tier 1 UK visa holder for schengen visa

Hi

I got my Tier 1 Post study work visa in Jan and immediately went to India for a short project as a freelance consultant. I got back in April and have sent off my documents to a visa agent for a Schengen visa to France for a holiday at the end of May.

I have a few questions

1. I have got a letter from my accountant saying that I am self employed but have no earnings to report in the last few weeks (which is the time I have actually been in the UK). Bank balance is more than enough to cover my stay for 10 days. What effect will that have and how can I counter any negatives?

2. I got a French Scngen visa in July last year but couldn't travel because of personal reasons. Then I got a Portugese Scengen and went to the Azores in September. Will not travelling to France be held against my application? I've included a letter saying I couldn't travel because of illness.

3. I have moved house on return from India. Since I printed bank statements from the internet, they carry my old address. However I have a confirmation letter from my bank with the new address and balance and the accountant's letter also states my address. Will this affect my application?

Just Explain them why you didn't travel that's it they are very co-operative I had similar situation and they granted me Visa
