Scam - where could I report it?

Post by drsquirrel » Wed Apr 28, 2010 11:32 am

Sorry I don't have full details so far, but my wife's cousin was looking at a possible job for an appartment company, www.atriumapartments.co.uk if this is real, or if they are implicated I have no idea.

Alarm bells started ringing when she said £3,500/month (and then others like 1000 paid annual leave, 500 medical cover, blah blah... strange).

Letters/emails are in poor (and Americanised) English.

Airtravel to be paid for by the hotel, and initially the visa was too but they are asking for £150 for the visa now, and are suggesting they get a tourist/student visa first!

Contact details are right dodgy... (phone numbers are mobile numbers etc).

Contact details are also dodgy

I'm in no doubt this is a scam... is it worth reporting it somewhere? and where?
