Hi there,
My wife is a British citizen and I am a non-eu national and I live in Ireland. We are both under the age of 21. So that means I do not qualify for the British spouse visa just yet. Therefore, I am thinking of applying for the EEA family permit, so I can go with my wife and visit her relatives and live with them for sometime maybe. My questions are:
1. Can I apply for the UK family permit outside the UK, i.e. Ireland?
2. I heard that I will have to be on the family permit for 5 years until I qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain, if that's true, can I apply for the British spouse visa after reaching 21 years of age even though I'm holding the family permit?
All advice is appreciated Very Happy
