Extension application in a week - help on previous earnings

Post by Anio » Sat May 01, 2010 5:19 pm

I have about a week to submit my extension application and just making some final checks on previous earning.

I am claiming two sources of income as an employee - a main income and part time income. The part time is not a professional job and i would like to downplay that fact. Few questions/would appreciate comments:
- I hope there would be no issues as i read a post where someone was queried for being a driver.
- in the section that says main occupation do i just put the skilled job and omit the part time one - only referring to it in payslips and bank statements?
- The name on the payslip letter head for the part time job is different from the company name paying into my account. I'm not sure i can get a letter from the company to explain this. What do i do?

Comments/ advise appreciated, been having sleepless nights as the day approaches. :?

The beauty of point based system is that if you acquire the required points it does not matter what you do.

Though that may change in near future where it may well be based on if you are doing a skilled job or not.
You can mention your job as long as you are paying the taxes you are fine.

If you have the payslip showing your name and exact net amount deposited in your bank you are fine.

Good Luck

Thanks, that's re-assuring. It's at this late hour that i have been finding a few things i'm not totally comfortable with. I would have loved a very straight forward application.
