http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ew-uk-govt:
Following the UK general election on 6 May 2010, the UK Border Agency website has undergone some changes.

All news stories published before April 2010 have been removed from this website, as has information about our strategies and aims under the previous government. This content can be viewed on the UK government web archive.

Let us hope for the better!...

Remember it is this coalition that wants a cap on immigration (and perhaps wants even fewer people to become British in the long run than the Labour wanted)!

How do we keep the archives for a possible future case of JR? It looks like we are going towards some retrospective changes.

What I saw in the last years, is that less and less people - who are skilled / highly skilled, working hard, paying taxes, obeying the laws, etc, - become eligible to settle in the UK, despite the initial promises. The rules under labours have been changed two times over the period of 5-6 years, retrospectively, - it is just a scam, not a policy, in my view.

Let us see if Lib-Con are going to set and play "fair rules", as promised by both parties.
