ILR > Dependent > Tier 1 - eligiblity ?

Post by desmond » Fri May 14, 2010 3:15 pm

Hello Guys,

I would like to know if I will eligible to apply for ILR along with my wife.
My wife has a wp and is eligible to apply for ILR by June 2010
I initially came to this country on March 2007 as a dependent on my wife's wp visa (valid till June 2010)
Then I went back to my home country to apply for Tier1 visa general and got in 4 weeks. Go the visa on 13/Nov/2008 and arrived back in the UK on 21/Nov/2008 and have been here since.

To sum it up, I was on
1. WP Dependent visa for 1 year and 8 months
2. Tier 1 visa from 21/Nov/2008

Would I be eligible to apply for ILR with wife given that I was her dependent for 1 year and 8 months?

Regards,
Des

No .... because you are no longer your wife's dependent.

Change back to dependent (EC from home country) and then you can include yourself in your wife's ILR application.
