what should l do next

Hi All,

Sometimes in March l posted an information on how my Residence Card application was refused as a family member of EU national exercising treaty right in the uk.

I applied as a brother of a French national with my family wife and two kiddies, to cut it short am the primary applicant, the HO granted my kiddies and wife Residence Card and refused me on the ground that l did not submit my Original certificate of birth, which has since been gutted by fire over two decades ago and since then have being making use of sworn declaration of age issued to me in the year 1998 and registration birth certified copy issued to me at the lagos state registra office, initially it was refused and my representative said l should go and Re authenticate it at the Nigeria High Commission, this was done and it was forwarded back to the HO despite their directives that l should leave the Uk with 28 days which expires some weeks. Back. The sworn affidavit of declaration of Age they rejected is the same document have since been using to apply for my visa and student dependant extension at the HO office last year.

In the HO letter, it states that l have no right of appeal but if l have documents to prove my birth l shod forward it by making a new application but my representative has forward a letter protest to the HO with those documents prompting the reasons behind my refusal while they granted my dependants with the documents l submitted initially.

The letter and documents was forwarded back to the HO on the 16 April some few days to the 28 days deadline given that l should leave the Uk and up till now l have not heard anything from the HO.

What should l do next cos my passport will expire by August and l have even missed my re issuse date for a new Passport already applied for.

What is the next step cos l can't work again and my family need my support as well.

my brother you should have gotten a copy from the hospital you were born in Lagos. my friend had similar problem when I travelled to 9ja I a able to go to UCH Ibadan to get a copy from their file for my friend who was born 1969. It is good you have written to them to protest
