ICFN - Is it mandatory ?

Hi !

I'm an Indian National working in the UK for almost 2years on Work Permit and am planning to apply for a Tier 1 visa.

I do not have an ICFN number. Is ICFN Mandatory for me to apply ?

What should I do if I don't have ICFN number, what should I fill in the form ?
