Post by muthamesthri » Thu May 20, 2010 2:26 pm

Hi All,

I have got few doubts while filling the details in the application form.

Please find the details below.

Page: 21

D5. Are either the applicant’s current and/or any one of his/her previous passport(s) or travel document(s) that he/she has used to travel to, and remain in, the United Kingdom which shows his/her current leave unavailable?

I dint understand this. Please help me. What exactly they are refering to??

Page-21
D11.What is the applicant’s current immigration status in the United Kingdom?

I dint understand this. Please help me. are they asking whether i am an employee or not? or anything else???

page: 37
K7.Please confirm points being claimed for total earnings

For this do we need to show our gross amount or net amount?
If we show gross here, the bank statements will show net amount. so please suggest.

This means have you ever had permission to enter the UK before? If so, do you have the passport available or has it been lost? If you have been granted permission to enter before, they will want to see this. If you dont have the passport, they want to know why.

This is asking if you are already in the UK and if so, under what immigration status? Visitor, Tier1 etc. If you are not in the UK, say so

You need to show gross earnings. The payslips will show gross and net, so it doesn't matter than your bank statements only show net

Are you applying outside the UK? Are you extending or starting an initial application? You fill in different forms depending on whether you are applying from within UK or outside.....

Your answer is no, no passports are unavailable (you have your passport with work permit so it is available)

You need to say exactly what the permit in your passport says

Need help in filling vaf9 form

Post by vicky_dgn » Sat May 22, 2010 12:18 pm

Hello all,

I have few question regarding dependant details in vaf form.

1.) My wife is not travelling with me and i am not applying for her visa currently. So what documents do i need to submit to show my marital status in this case?
2.) In section 7 we have to provide future date when your wife will travel. Can we give tentative dates here?

Regards
Vicky

1) Eventhough your wife is not traveling with you, its mandatory to mention her details and provide documentary evidence (Marriage certificate)
2) Since you are going to mention some date and you have an intention of her traveling later, just mention a date with a gap sufficient for her to apply (just being little practical, even with approx. date)

BR,
ypkr.
