LTR Query

Hi Folks,

I have posted LTR application around a month back by registered post to LTR section in dublin, but did not receive any acknowledge letter from LTR section. Does INIS send acknowledgement letter for LTR application like it is sent for Citizenship application?

You should get an acknowledgement letter from INIS. I do not know how long it takes to reply applicants these days. I remember mine took a couple of weeks before I received acknowledgement (that was about 3 years ago).

I know you may be fearing that what happened to your naturalization application may happen here, but heck you may just be alright this time. I'll say give it a few more days if you haven't received anything. give them a call.

BTW, for the purpose of LTR, your GNIB 69/xxxxxx is used as your reference number.

Hi , I also applied around 24th April 2010 for LTR but no acknowledgement till now. Let me know if you get and i will follow up.
