SAR access after acquiring BC

Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone knows if its possible to ask for SAR from UKBA few years after acquiring british citizenship, not sure if UKBA still keeps records of previous immigration history after acquiring BC , I am trying to bring my partner to the UK but embassy asked for my detailed histroy in the UK and I can't remeber exact dates of WP visas etc.

"detailed history in UK" What do they need it for?
