Hello,

I am on Tier 2 Intra Company transfer Visa and applying for Tier 1 General in early June. Please help me with the following queries.

1. Can I claim my points for any consecutive period in the last 15 months? I am claiming for April 10 down to Mar 09.

2. For the above period, last 4 months, i.e. April 10, Mar 10, Feb 10 and Jan 10, I was in UK and hence showing UK salary. For the rest of the 8 months, I was physically working in India. For this 8 months Indian income will the uplift ratio be applied?

3. In addition to the above mentioned 8 months (where I was physically working in India), I was also paid for 2 months (April 10 and Jan 10) in India as well along with UK salary. Will the uplift ratio be applied for these 2 months of India? If not then how can I consider the salary for these two months.

Any 12 consecutive months in last 15 months

Yes, if you were in India for these 8 months

No uplift for these months, use the exchange rate and uplift of 1 + UK salary

For the four months you have mentioned , you will apply uplift factor of 1 and for the rest of the 8 months you will apply factor of indian salary.

******** You are complicating your case here with these 2 months ???? try to make it simple ........

Hey Thanks,
To make it simpler, let me put it this way.

1. For the months (Apr 09 to Dec 09 i.e. 8 months, Physically working in India) I have only INDIAN salary hence after using the conversion ratio 0.0147 I will apply uplift ratio. Is this correct?

2. For the months (Jan 10 to Apr 10, Physically working in UK): here I got UK salary for these 4 months but for Apr10 and Jan10, I also got Indian salary in India.

Please let me know how many points do I earn. It's very important as I am applying in the first week of June.

Hi everybody,

I am living in Pakistan and planning to apply for uk Tier 1. My monthly salary is around 100,000 Pak Rupees. I just want to ask from experts that i have check my earnings from point based calculator but i have confusion that some people say that there is no country band for uplift or multiplier after change in 6th april 2010.

Is it true that if i will apply they will multiply my salary with 5.3 (Country band D, Pakistan) now?

An early response will be highly appreciated
