Thanks! I hope I will be saying ILR granted, cannot wait for the feeling.jainey wrote:Try not to stress if everything is ok your ILR will be granted.
I put a note on my calender for 14wks (the time you are allowed to contact them to ask about progress of application) luckily we never got there it came at 5 wks it seems things are taking between 3 and 13 wks you cant stress that long!!Dont plan any trips that just adds to the stress of having no passport and time lines!
I am sure you will be posting a note on here before not too long saying ILR granted!![]()
Best wishes will keep my eye out for you!
How did you send it? If it's recorded delivery then check your reference number on the courier's website. You should have received a letter by now. However the money being taken out shows that they have received the application.Dorby wrote:Hi
I applied for set(m) recently by post
The package was delivered on the 29/04/10
Money was taken on the 30/04/10
However I have not received an acknowledgement letter as yet... is this normal and should I be worried?

My wife's spouse visa expires on 3rd Feb 2011. She will have completed 2 years in UK on 7th Nov. We are planning to go to Brazil for Xmas and New Year. We were hoping to apply 7th Oct and pray that it arrives before 22nd Dec. However, if we returned on about 20th Jan is that too late to apply. My wife thinks she has heard somewhere that you have to apply 28 days before the visa expires. We know it is pointless asking HO for any clarification so wonder if you guys have any info

Regarding bank statements etc, we have opted for paperless bills so only can print our statements off the internet. Will these be classed as originals, or is it only passports etc that they want to see originals. Any info would be great, thanks
FRUSTRATING isn't it when folks that have sent their application weeks or months after we have and they have already recieved a decision..!!princess22 wrote:I have had 2 of my relatives that have sent off their ILR's after ours and they have received their passports back within 3 and 4 weeks..
..Not as far as I know.princess22 wrote:P.S
Is there anyway you can track the progress of your application online?
