Regarding my parents as dependents in US

Regarding my parents as dependents in US

I have a very tragic situation. I am working in US on H1B, first year and my parents used to live with my brother in India. My brother passed away last week and I wanted to know my optons in taking my parents to US as my dependents. I have read that the dependent clause only includes spouse and children but what do people do when their parents are their dependents? My brother was the only support they had in India and now that is gone.

Is there anything I can do? Otherwise should I just try to come back to India asap?

Unfortunately only US citizens can petition for parents.
