Clarification in PBS Appendix 1 (APR 2010) Form

Post by prisat » Mon Jun 07, 2010 7:18 pm

Qualification

My study of Institution and Degree is both recognized by PBS.

PBS also gives me points for English requirement (Degree taught in English) section.

Though, it has - I would like to submit a certificate that i have received from my University (In my case University of Madras) that the degree is taught in english.

Now my question is

In section 6.6 under Part 6 which option should i select
?

6.6 Put a cross (x) in the relevant box to confirm how you verified your degree was taught in English

Below are the 3 options for 6.6

1. The points-based calculator shows the degree was taught
in English; Go to Question 6.9

2. The points-based calculator does not show the qualification
is equivalent to a United Kingdom degree but a UK NARIC
letter and/or certificate is enclosed; Go to Question 6.7

3. The points-based calculator shows the qualification is
equivalent to a United Kingdom degree but does not show
the qualification was taught in English; Go to Question 6.7

Now which one option should i select ??? First one or the third one ????

Please advise folks.

Thanks in advance

Obviously the first option and which is true. Why do you want to select that the PBS calculator does not show the qualification was taught in English when it does?

Do not complicate your application. If you want to add additional documents like letter from uni etc., mention that in your cover letter that you are providing it for additional evidence. My advice would be to keep it simple and straight.
