On the day you apply for British citizenship:
  • you must have indefinite leave to remain in the UK, and
you must have been in the UK on a day exactly three years before the date of application.
You're allowed to have been outside the UK for up to 270 days in that three year period, and there's a degree of flexibility over absences exceeding that total, but there's no escaping the requirement that you must have been here three years ago, I'm afraid - nor the requirement that you have ILR.

So, I'm sorry, but there isn't a "fast-track" arrangement in place. But are you not able to get a national passport from your own country in order to visit your parents?

You don't say long you have been in the UK but one of the tests you need to pass when applying for naturalisation is that you must have been in the UK exactly three years before IND receive your naturalisation application.

So if it is the case that you have been in the UK for just "half a year now" then you appear to have say 2.5 years more to go before you can apply.

The fact that you give birth to a child, and that child is British because of your husband's nationality, does not improve your situation.

But you say "how long will i have to wait to obtain one so i can travel. it is because of my parents will not be able to visit me here as they are very fragile and not well".

You are allowed to travel now! Just use your existing passport complete with its two-year spouse visa. After all that visa is multi-entry ...... you are allowed to leave the UK and re-enter ..... subject of course to you not being too pregnant to fly!

Obviously your right to re-enter the UK using that visa expires on the end date shown on that visa. And excessive time outside the UK might have an impact upon you getting your ILR in about 18 months time, or indeed your naturalisation.

[Edit : Paul, you beat me to it!]
