Prescription charges?

Post by Dasavathar » Fri Jun 04, 2010 2:54 pm

For children under 15 the prescription is free of charge... If we avail this benefit for under 15 children, will this affect ILR?

That "benefit" is not within the definition of Public Funds, as in para 6 of the Immigration Rules, so absolutely no problem your children having free prescriptions. Or free NHS dentistry

The same applies to a woman who is pregnant, or indeed for one year thereafter, and is therefore entitled to free prescriptions, no problem having those free prescriptions, or free NHS dentistry.
