WPD to Tier 2 General

Hello All,

I am on a currently Work Permit Dependant Visa which is due to expire in 2012, but as my relationship with the WP holder has broken down I would like to apply for a Tier 2 general from Australia.

My questions are,

Does being on a WPD currently influence the Tier 2 App in a negative way?

Do I need to prove/state in a covering letter that the relationship has broken down?

As I have only recently broken up and returned to Australia, my bank accounts are all still held in the UK.. Is this a problem for showing available maintenance funds? ie I will have documents from the UK, but my contact address now will be Australian

Does having worked for the sponsoring company previously influence the application?

I've been in the UK for 4 years on the a WPD, but will switching to the Tier 2 mean I must restart the 5 years for ILR?
